Weeknight Meteorologist
FOX40 NEWS Meteorologist Kristina Werner joined the news team in December of 1999 and can be seen every weekday at 10:00 PM.
Kristina comes to us from KNVN-TV in Chico, California where she spent time as Weekend Weathercaster and then Morning Weathercaster.
Kristina feels right at home here in Northern California. She grew up in Vacaville before moving to Sacramento. She graduated from both American River College and Sacramento State University, majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting. She recently completed the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University and is currently pursuing the American Meteorological Society seal.
Kristina and her husband Jonathan are now proud parents of a baby girl. Kristina is an avid sports fan and enjoys working out… On sunny afternoons, you just might see her running behind a stroller!
